What happened on UCreateChange.com (8-14 Mar 2010)
We, the general public of UCreateChange.com, sincerely request that the organisers overhaul the show. In fact, you’re missing out on so much cool stuff out there that we’re utterly shocked into silence.
[silence]
We respectfully submit our list of missing things to you for your perusal. And sincerely hope that you would consider revamping next year’s IT Show to fit our vision for the future.
Thank you for your time.
First up…
#1: Fashionistas need tech as well!
The latest, biggest trend is to wear our computers on our sleeves. So that geeks like us can play Scissors-Paper-Stone with our T-shirts. Or accessorise with Neuber’s sun bags – the ones that recharge HTC Heroes and other knick-knacks while under the sun.
#2: Where are the disabled-friendly gadgets?
We think that deaf, blind, mute folk need them more than anyone else! Like phones. Everyone needs one, even deaf people. We thought that The Visual Sound by Suhyun Kim would have been great for them, and might have brought you better karma. :P
#3: Save the Earth!
We would like to see more eco-friendly gadgets. Take a cue from the film that turns anything into a touchscreen (so you can build one gadget, paste this film over it and viola! Instant touchscreen), or the inkless mini printer that burns words and images into paper, or The Airnergy that uses wi-fi signals to recharge our coterie of PCs, phones, and mp3 players. Now they would hit our sweet spot.
#4: Please please please….
We’re begging you. Please bring in the Lemur. This multi-touch music controller makes the Tenori-on passe. And frankly we’re happy to throw heaps of cash at you for it!
PS: Just in case you didn’t know, this letter’s just for fun. :P
